Sacred Spaces: A Call to Intimacy with God

On July 12th, Wise Wives hosted the maiden edition of Sacred Spaces at the LightHouse, home of the KUPES Young Women’s Network in Lusaka. The theme, “A Call to Intimacy with God,” invited women into worship, reflection, and renewal. Tickets sold out in just two and a half days — a powerful reminder of how deeply women long to encounter God in close fellowship.

The day itself was unforgettable. We prayed, worshipped, laughed, and cried together. Sacred Spaces created an atmosphere where women could put aside the noise of life and truly draw near to God. Many who attended still speak of the healing, encouragement, and renewal that took place.

Honouring Our Guests and Team

We were humbled to be led by Lady Norena, our Keynote Speaker, whose wisdom and grace blessed the gathering and set the tone for the day. Our Worship Minister, Pastor Mercy, carried us into God’s presence with depth and sincerity, and she was joined by Lady Victoria, who served alongside her in song.

We were also honoured by the presence of mentors, distinguished guests, and friends who stood with us in faith and accountability. Their presence was not only a blessing but also a visible reminder that Wise Wives is surrounded by a community of encouragement and covering.

The band created an atmosphere of reverence and joy through their music. We are equally grateful to our photographer (Makesure Photography) and videographer, who captured the beauty and spirit of the day, ensuring these intimate moments can continue to inspire long after the event.

But the truth is, it took a village. Family gave monetary contributions. Some of my KUPES sisters sowed seeds quietly, without logos or publicity. Friends, even at the last minute, gave into the event — some without attending in person. Others interceded in prayer, known to us and unknown.
